-Stand up to the electric utilities to prevent their
outrageous electric rate increases on consumers and
small businesses.
-Strongly oppose the proposed legislative plan to
seize over 500,000 acres of private property from
private landowners for the Trans Texas Corridor, a
massive toll road system
-Support re-enrolling all 230,000 children who lost
their CHIP coverage because of funding cuts
-Challenge the current legislative leadership that
paid a politically connected company from Bermuda
over ninety million dollars to manage the Children's
Health Insurance Program, but fumbled the job which
resulted in 22,000 children losing their health
coverage
-Support access to quality healthcare including the
safe patient ratio reflected in the Texas Hospital
Patient Protection Act.
